Huckberry knew what its audience was interested in; we saw periodic bumps in searches for things like fishing equipment, outdoor cooking, and gardening.
So we periodically selected a few activities where we could drill deep. 'Of Interest' offered both practical knowledge as well as contributions, often from experts, to inspire further exploration.
The result was a evergreen content package—blog posts, social features, email callouts and other assets—that could drive engagement again and again.
