Exhibition Copy -Harvard Art Museum/Renzo Piano

01 — Project details

Harvard had been trying for a decade to build a new art museum. Support had wavered over the years, making it difficult to sell the benefits of this 400 million dollar project.

This exhibition helped to change all that.

02 — Creative process

I worked with the team at Renzo Piano Building Workshop, the architects who had designed everything from the Whitney Museum in New York to the Shard in London, gathering ideas and materials to make our case.

Meetings with everyone from local community groups to Drew Faust, then President of Harvard, helped us understand our audience.

By collaborating with teams of curators, designers, and art preparators on a special exhibition open to all, I found the story that would finally get this project moving toward its eventual completion in 2014.
