Designer Aaron Draplin was a elder statesman of the PNW's creative community, creating a graphic language that helped to define a post-grunge ethos. A video featuring my interview with Aaron was the key asset for our campaign promoting the custom Field Notes notebooks Aaron had created for Huckberry.
02 — Creative process
The video program at Huckberry was all about capturing unexpected moments with fascinating people.
Working with a small crew and doing plenty of ad-libbing, I wrote briefs, interview questions, and scripts—while also appearing on camera—creating content that perfectly reflected Huckberry's values and brand voice.
